Psychiatry Resident
MD

I am a fourth-year UBC psychiatry resident in the research track, and have been working with the NINET lab since January 2016. My primary research focus is on the convulsive therapies, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and magnetic seizure therapy (MST). Currently, I am the project lead for our prospective ECT data collection initiative known as CARS, and am a lead or collaborator on a number of other ongoing studies related to ECT and MST. As an aspiring geriatric psychiatrist, I have a special interest in the neuropsychiatry of late-life movement disorders and Parkinsonian dementias, and the use of neurostimulation modalities to treat these conditions.
